A Rare Tang Dynasty Style Sancai Glazed Duck-Form Vessel
Tang Dynasty Style
Molded as a recumbent duck with its neck arched backward over the opening between the feather-molded wings, the open beak grasps the rim of the flower-form lamp, splashed with ivory, amber, and green glazes, the base and interior left unglazed exposing the chalky white body.
